Welcome!
Welcome! The Utah Folk Orchestra is a growing community of musicians who come together to play gorgeous folk and bluegrass music from Celtic, Old Time, Norwegian, French Canadian, and Bluegrass traditions. We're open to all instruments and all skill levels — readers and ear players alike. In our large ensemble, everyone blends together into something that sounds genuinely beautiful. Use this site to find your sheet music, check our schedule, and get involved.

Next Up: Jordan River Parkway Acoustic Music Stroll
Listen or Join in!
Some of our favorite memories are made playing outdoors together, so I really hope you'll join us for our next event! We are officially partnering with Primrose Productions and Busker Fest for a planned street performance along the Jordan River Parkway on Thursday, June 18th.
We want a huge turnout so we can have a blast sharing our folk music with the evening strollers. Even if you have never attended a session before, you are still welcome! Just listening? Bring a blanket or chairs - our spot is the perfect shady area for a picnic!
In the interest of transparency: we are currently working toward becoming an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and any proceeds from this event will go directly toward our filing fees. Thank you for your time, your talent, and for keeping this organization going!
When: Thursday, June 18th | 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Gear Needed: Instrument, music stand, music, and a folding chair.
